Hi, I'm Tina Clark, the founder of Sweet & Cute Sweets, a name inspired by my daughter and my love of making sweets that are delicious and adorable (but let's be honest, even ugly sweets are wonderful :)
As a way to spend time with girlfriends (after we'd all gone our separate ways from Kodak), we started doing craft shows together. I had always loved to bake and to see the happiness created by a sweet treat, so I started selling treats alongside Jenny's gourd birdhouses and Aprille's hand crafted jewelry.
I love coffee, so one of my first products was flavored sugar cubes. They were adorable and delicious - and I need to get back to them soon... but when I saw different flavored syrups on Pinterest, I was intrigued. With coffee and sugar being two of my favorite things, I developed my own recipe and method for making Coffee Syrup. As I sampled it at events, it quickly became a customer fave, motivating me leave Corporate America and follow my dream of starting my own biz. I still do events, where I make and sell other goodies, including Salted Coffee Caramels (made with Coffee Syrup and local cream), Mocha Latte Fudge, and Coffee Toffee. I've even nearly mastered French Macarons - filled with Coffee Syrup Chocolate Ganache, of course! I am looking forward to growing and adding many new sweet treats, syrups and more!
At Sweet & Cute, we not only create high quality sweets, we strive to make the world a better place, using recyclable glass bottles, eco-friendly shipping supplies, organic sugar, and even paper cups and wooden spoons when sampling.
