Cafe Buttercream Frosting

Buttercream with Coffee Syrup recipe


  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup shortening or butter
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp milk
  • 3 Tbsp Coffee Syrup (more or less to taste)

In  medium bowl, mix powdered sugar and shortening with electric mixer on  low speed. It may be crumbly. Stir in vanilla and milk. Beat until  smooth. Gradually add in Coffee Syrup, tasting along the way. If  frosting is too thick, add more milk a little at a time.
